You earn your paycheck and Congress needs to be a careful guardian of our tax money. Sadly that's not been the case. Both Republicans and Democrats have spent too freely in Washington. Steve has a strong record of fighting the big spenders and pushing for lower taxes on families and small business. Out-of-control government borrowing is driving up interest rates and squeezing the middle class. China is getting the benefits of this deficit spending -- not Americans. That needs to change. Steve is working to stop expanding entitlements. We can't keep making promises to spend more forever. It just doesn't work. We have saddled ourselves with so many commitments that we actually need to worry about Medicare and Social Security being solvent.
